One of our favourite Sunday haunts is the Old Bus Depot, be it for a new pot of herbs which I will, inevitably, kill with neglect, or a loaf of focaccia that’ll lead me to carb heaven . This week, though, it was all about the kiddos. The long weekend celebrating the Queen’s birthday has brought along a family fun-filled day of bouncy castle, a petting farm, miniature pony rides, and stalls dedicated to the little rascals we parents dub as angels.
I’m a sucker for supporting small businesses, hence I stayed far away from the Handmade Markets at Epic this whole weekend. Alas, I spotted a stall that I just couldn’t walk away from, at least not empty handed.
The minute I touched a pair of Stok Denim jeans on the rack, I was sold. Soft and buttery with the right amount of distressed detailing and the convenience of adjustable waistbands, these babies were right up my rough and tumble baby girl’s alley. This talented mom of two adorably stylish boys also sells bamboo basics for kids, and though I was really tempted to grab a tee to match the jeans because I’m a huge fan of anything bamboo, my man was putting his foot securely down on just one purchase.
